Hi Dave & Company, Waldo is in dog heaven ever since you installed our out-of-sight = fencing. Since he's a Dalmatian, he needs lots of running room and a = place to play and jump and explore. He now has it all.=20 However during the first week, he made a break for the outside world = when his dog friend, Luther, came to play. After a while, Luther grew = tired of Waldo's exuberance and ran home. Waldo followed. Fortunately, I = retrieved him, and you returned to help re-train my furry friend. Also, = I turned up the "zap" just a hair, and Waldo's been happily yard-bound = ever since.=20 The true test came a couple of weeks later when Luther dropped by to = play again. (We do not have a leash law in our area.) Luther snatched up = one of Waldo's toys for a game of chase around the yard. Everything was = fine, and then the game took an ugly turn: Luther ran to the edge of the = fencing, dropped the toy, and barked at Waldo as if to say, "Come on! I = dare you !" Waldo looked at me and then sat down, defeated. ...but = triumphant in self-control and respect for his new boundaries. He's a = happy dog. Thanks!
