Hi from Todd and Christine Savolis in Pittsfield, MA.

We wanted to write and tell you that Jazz (our 1 and 1/2 year old female 
 Chow/Shepard mix) has been on the system since August of 2003 and we 
can't imagine NOT having it. We had some issues when we 1st got Jazz 
with running away (and jumping out of windows!) which can be dangerous 
in the busy neighborhood we live in. She had run away with her previous 
owner, who gave her up to the Humane Society at 8 months old. We fell in 
love with her instantly. We wanted to give her the freedom to run, but 
to keep her safe at the same time. We tried various tie outs - all of 
which she eventually broke from. When she was tied out, we felt guilty 
because she was obviously unhappy. She was more agitated and barked more 
than usual.

With Dog Guard, she is a much happier dog and has the freedom she 
deserves - she loves knowing this is her "territory". Everyone that 
walks by is amazed at how well she has done with it. She has calmed down 
also. I never dreamed that a system like this would work, but I am so 
glad we found it!
