I live on a dirt road in a college town. The road is used constantly by students for running and biking. My wonderful dog (Humane Society Rescue) is part shepherd, and just felt it her duty to bark at all these runners. It was a real nuisance for me, as well as frightening for me. I didn't want anyone to be scared, or worse, get bitten. The fence has been a marvelous solution. The sign alerts runners and others that my dog is contained. And now that my dog realizes she can't actually go into the road, she's content to watch most of the time. ************************ Marjorie M. Wylde Director of Conferences Williams College P.O.
